Online-Workshop: Application Training
verantwortlich: Anja Robert

for International Students

The traditional application consisting of cover letter, CV and appendix is of great importance for starting one's career in Germany – even in times of changing recruiting methods. In this workshop you will learn how to write a job-related application based on German standards and the well-established screening and selection methods of human resources departments. A special focus is placed on identifying your unique selling points and learning how to communicate them as part of your brand statement in an application. In addition, the structure of job advertisements is illustrated and it is shown how to respond to them with your documents in the best possible way. At the end of the workshop, you will have developed the perspective of a German recruiter yourself in theoretical and practical parts of the workshop. This, in turn, will enable you to write your applications in a targeted and successful manner.

This training is aimed at all international students who want to apply for jobs, internships and working student positions in Germany. Please prepare a first draft of your application documents (cover letter, CV) before the workshop.
