Titel: Essential Skills for Career Success – A Future Skills Impulse Workshop
The interactive workshop "Essential Skills for Career Success" provides international students with a practical introduction to key competencies that are highly valued in the modern workplace, particularly in Germany. Given the rapid technological advancements and an uncertain job market, it is increasingly important to develop not only technical knowledge but to be able to communicate clearly, adapt quickly and deal confidently with new situations.
In this half-day impulse workshop, participants will work with interactive exercises to explore and strengthen essential skills such as:
Communication Skills and Presence: Participants will learn to communicate clearly and authentically, even in international contexts, which is crucial for success in diverse work environments. Additionally, the workshop helps participants present themselves confidently and reflect on their impact, enhancing their employability.
Teamwork and Collaboration Skills: The workshop fosters constructive collaboration and the ability to build on and develop ideas together, reflecting the team-oriented culture prevalent in many German companies.
Creativity and Problem-Solving Skills: Participants explore new perspectives and spontaneous approaches to problem-solving – skills that are highly sought after in modern work environments.
Adaptability and Dealing with Uncertainty: Participants will discover how to handle new and stressful situations with more confidence—an essential trait in today’s dynamic job market. They will also learn to view mistakes as learning opportunities and act more boldly, which is a valuable mindset for navigating the challenges of the German job market.
